New at Walt Disney World in 2026

by admin

A new year means new and exciting updates at Walt Disney World! This year we are going to see either new or revamped attractions to all four parks and Disney Springs. From updates to a few of our favorite rides to new characters, here is what is new at Walt Disney World in 2026.

Magic Kingdom

Big Thunder Mountain

A staple at Magic Kingdom has been receiving a major renovation. Big Thunder Mountain will be returning this spring with new touches of magic and a crevasse-deep to mountain-top refurbishment.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
Spring will be very busy (or even busier than normal!) as Magic Kingdom reopens another favorite. Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin has been receiving updated ride vehicles, “cool” new handheld blasters and interactive targets.

New at EPCOT

Frozen Ever After

This year EPCOT will be wrapping up updates to one of its most beloved attractions, Frozen Ever After. Starting in February, we’ll get a glimpse of enhancements to the character figures inspired by World of Frozen in Hong Kong Disneyland.

Soarin’ Across America

As part of the company-wide celebration commemorating the 250-year anniversary of the United States of America, EPCOT will feature Soarin’ Across America. The immersive flight experience will feature scenic vistas and will debut by Memorial Day 2026.

Hollywood Studios

Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live Starting this summer you’ll be able to catch the beloved show from Disneyland right here at Hollywood Studios. Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live is packed with upbeat tunes. You’ll be dancing along with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as they embark on a road trip to find some of their best pals – Goofy, Daisy and Pluto, of course.

The Magic of Disney Animation

This may be one of the least talked about new attractions but one that I’m most excited about. Later in the summer, “The Magic of Disney Animation” will open and invite us all inside the world of Walt Disney Animation Studios and its beloved, playful creations. Just like in the award-winning short  animated characters come to life; characters will leap from their portraits, draw with us, and invite us into a “Drawn To Wonderland” playground inspired by Disney Legend Mary Blair’s original Alice in Wonderland. You’ll also be able to venture into a stunning area born of collaboration between Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering. Here, you can meet some of your favorite friends from beloved Disney stories across six unique departments from the animation studio: Story, Layout, Hand-drawn animation, Computer Animation, Lighting and Effects. Each space offers incredible photo opportunities where you can meet Mulan in the Story department or step into the Layout department where Rapunzel awaits you.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets

We’ve been hearing about this one for what seems like ages and finally we will be seeing the newly re-vamped Rock ‘n’ Roller this summer. If you’re looking to take another Aerosmith ride before the Muppets take over, you can keep riding until spring 2026!

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run
The Mandalorian and Grogu will soon be joining the Millennium Falcon at Star Wars: Galaxy Edge. The new storyline will be debuting on May 22.

Animal Kingdom

Bluey and Bingo

Beginning in summer 2026, you’ll be able to take a fun excursion to Conservation Station in Animal Kingdom where you can play and dance with Bluey and Bingo! Play some favorite games from Bluey episodes with a fun animal twist.

Disney Springs

Disney Springs is getting in on the action in 2026 with the debut of LEVEL99. This interactive playhouse will be opening sometime in 2026 and will feature over 60 themed challenge rooms, duels and art hunts. After all of that action you can grab a Detroit-style pizza and a drink at the venue’s 2-story bar.

Stay tuned as well keep you updated on exact opening dates and details!
